Terms of Service

Effective date: May 23, 2026

1) Services

TechFixAfterSix provides remote IT support sessions for consumers and small businesses. Service scope is based on the selected booking type and time window.

2) Payment & Booking

  • Payment is due at booking unless otherwise stated.
  • Appointments are confirmed after successful booking/payment.
  • If additional time/work is needed, approval is requested before continuing.

3) Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancel at least 1 calendar day before your appointment for a full refund.
  • Cancellations with less than 1 day notice and no-shows are non-refundable.
  • Once session work begins, a $25 service fee is non-refundable.
  • If work cannot proceed due to factors outside our control (no internet, device won't power on, missing credentials/access), one reschedule may be offered at no charge.

4) Remote Access & Security

  • You must be present (or have authorized access) during the session.
  • You control remote access and may end the session at any time.
  • You are responsible for maintaining backups of important files.

5) Limitations

TechFixAfterSix is not liable for pre-existing hardware defects, third-party outages, unsupported software behavior, or data loss resulting from prior malware/hardware failure. No guarantee is made that every issue can be fully resolved in one session.
